Can I burn Used cooking oil in a kerosene turbo heater ?

Ive been researching this and was wondering if anyone has tried it ,First im thinking of filtering the oil then using a tank to preheat the oil ,I have burned Diesel in my heater and Ive read quite a bit about people using the used oil in vehicles ,Any comments or ideas on this???
