How should I get rid of old kerosene. Can I safely burn it off in a steel container?

At work I have an old old old container full of kerosene. We need to get rid of it. We don’t have anything that is made to burn kerosene (heater, etc). So we are looking to burn it off. Was wondering if it will ignite, and what I should expect of it. Is there going to be a big explosion or flame - that sort of stuff. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks…..
