		<description>Kerosene is No. 1 diesel.  No. 2 heating oil and diesel fuel are the same except the fuel may have additives for engines. 

No. 2 is heavier fuel than No. 1.  I wouldn't use it in a kerosene heater. 

It may burn "okay" but it is more likely to soot up and will burn a little dirtier. And for a pot burner I have seen No.2 not flow in very cold weather because it is too thick when cold.</description>
