      You should buy a new one. If you don’t fix it properly, you run the risk releasing carbon monoxide into your home. Carbon monoxide is a very dangerous gas. It is oderless, colorless and tasteless. A person can succumb to carbon monoxide poisoning without being aware that they have carbon monoxide gas in their house. Please be careful!
