I have an important question about a kerosene heater?

I accidently put off road deisel in my kerosene heater last night. I am new with this type of heater and I thought I was getting kerosene. I filled this kerosene heater full with deisel, but I didn’t light it. My sister told me it was deisel. I drained the deisel out and went and bought kerosene today. Did I ruin my heater? What should I do?
