kerosene heater affects pregnancy?

xoxo asked:

Is there a harmful effect of using a kerosene heater inside the house during pregnancy?
I am 8 weeks pregnant and we’re using this kind of heater (we live in Japan) and it really made me feel sick, I dont know if this is just a part of my pregnancy, for having a very sensitive nose on odors etc.
I’d like to know if there is a harmful effect using this heater?
yes, we have other ways of heating, we have a reverse aircon but it doubles our electic bill, so we decide to switch to kero heater just like most of the homes do here in japan…at first it was ok for me, but since I found out that Im preggo, it really irritates my nose…
