Kerosene space heater questions, will it heat a 2 bedroom basement? How much is K-1 fuel in Chicago?

Also, I was looking at a much stronger 23K BTU unit for $99. It’s omnidirectional but I think it’s gas consumption out ways it’s cheap price.
