Would a kerosene heater harm a corn snake?

Jory asked:

Ok here are the details, I have a little corn snake, not very old, maybe a couple months max, just fed yesterday, and we are having a snowstorm. and in case our power goes out, (which it probably will), we have a kerosene heater. will that cause potential harm to my snake?
